Moroz Family

The weather was great and the Halibut finally pushed into the bay for their Spring spawn. I was lucky enough to take the Morroz family out for their son Michael’s birthday. The bass bite started with the first bait hitting the bottom and continued pretty consistently for the day. The bay water temp is slowly climbing up now and hit a high today of 64 degrees. While targeting some Bass with live Sardines we were lucky enough to get into a halibut bite. We missed many hits but finally landed a small Halibut and a legal Halibut. This worked out really well because the Morroz family had a bbq to go to later that day so we kept the one Halibut and prepped it for the bbq.

Overall it was a great day and they seemed to really have fun. We got to do everything from catching Bass to Halibut, see Seals sleeping, feed the Seagulls Sardines and see some Dophins in the bay! Below are some photos of the trip…
