Castletons-SD Bay

The day started with this weird cloud formation that was only right over the bay water before sunrise. I had never seen this before so I tried to take a picture of it...it wasn’t really light enough but it came out a bit.
Overall it was a beautiful day to be on the water. The fish cooperated a bit first thing in the morning and then it got a bit tough. Here is Michael with a Sand Bass.
The fish really seemed to be hitting the bait very lightly...we call it “mouthing” it. There were bites going on, but hard to hook them. Here is a Spotted Bay Bass.
The weather was amazing all morning, which was a nice treat for my customers who were from Utah. Overall it was a great day to be on the water!
